This notice explains how Paradygm Consulting ("Paradygm", "we") collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit paradygm.co, fill in one of our forms, or contact us by phone or email. We handle personal information in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What we collect
Information you give us. When you use a form on this site, we collect what you enter:
- Contact form: your name, email address, subject and message.
- Request a quote: your name, email address, company, number of employees, annual sales range, the standard you're interested in and your message.
- R2 questionnaire: your name, email address, company, facility address, type of business, number of sites and employees, current certifications, data sanitization details, timeline and any notes.
- Checklist downloads: your name, email address and, if you choose, your company.
If you call or email us, we collect the details you choose to share, such as your name, organization, email address, phone number and message.
Information collected automatically.
- Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, for example which pages are viewed and whether a form was sent. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. We do not send your name, email or form answers to Google Analytics.
- Our own visit counter. We run a simple counter on Cloudflare that records when a form is sent or a phone or email link is clicked, together with the page, how the visit started (for example the referring website or campaign tag) and the first page viewed. It sets no cookies, does not store your IP address and does not record what you type into a form. It uses your browser's session storage, which is cleared when you close the tab.
- Spam protection. Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a real person is sending the form. Turnstile processes technical information about your browser and connection to do this. Forms also contain a hidden field that helps us filter out automated spam.
- Hosting. Our website is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes standard technical data (such as IP address and browser details) to deliver and secure the site.
Why we collect it
We use your information only to:
- reply to your enquiry, quote request, questionnaire or checklist request;
- discuss our consulting, training and audit support services with you;
- keep a record of our communication with you; and
- understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it.
What we don't do
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We do not add you to a mailing list or send you marketing email without your consent. Asking for a checklist does not sign you up for anything.
Consent
By sending a form, you agree to us using your details to reply to your request, as described here. You can withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us (see below). You can block or delete analytics cookies in your browser settings or with Google's opt-out add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout); the site still works without them. When you first visit, a banner lets you accept or decline Google Analytics cookies. If you decline, the site tells Google Analytics not to set analytics cookies in your browser, removes any it already set, and remembers your choice in your browser's local storage. To change your choice, clear this site's data in your browser settings.
Who we share it with
We use trusted service providers to run the site and handle your messages:
- Cloudflare (website hosting, form processing, spam protection and our visit counter);
- Google (Google Workspace email, where form submissions are delivered, and Google Analytics);
- Notion (where we keep records of client enquiries).
These providers act on our behalf and may store or process information outside your province or Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to the laws of that country. We share information only as needed to respond to you, to run our business with these providers, or where required by law.
Retention and security
We keep enquiry information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, and we take reasonable measures to protect it.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw consent to further contact, by emailing info@paradygm.co or calling 1-855-702-9001. We will reply within the time PIPEDA requires (generally 30 days). If you have a concern about how we handled your information, please contact us first. You can also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca).
